President - James Sheftal

     Jim has been in the construction industry for over thirty years. Beginning his career as a land surveyor, Jim came into the profession just prior to the electronic revolution. Theodolites and steel chains were still the mainstay of the survey methodology. This enhanced his background as mathematical theory and calculations were still in everyday practice and propelled him to mastery of survey and construction layout. Jim’s next step in the evolution came as he entered into the grading and public works construction fields. Site development and large-scale earthwork projects were in high gear and for over a decade Jim was responsible for the grading and infrastructure construction, including pipeline installation, cast in place concrete structures, street improvements, and other public works projects. It was here in this environment he gained the experiences of coordinating and managing multiple disciplines on technical projects.

      The next opportunity in Jim’s career growth came as he entered the electric utility industry. Hired initially as a civil site development subject matter expert, delays in permitting these projects gave him an introduction into the electrical side of the industry. Beginning with infrastructure replacement projects in energized substations, he quickly moved into overseeing of automation/SCADA projects, and on to large site development through energized in‐service substation projects. Next in his progression was managing a large scale linear underground transmission project. These experiences enabled him to aspire to the position of senior project manager and provided the ability to lead and be a part of some really exciting projects.

      Jim has taken all of this experience and in his role of leading Accurate Structural Inc., brought the best most qualified people to ensure our client’s project success. Our team is motivated, experienced, and forward thinking.     With over 15 years in above and below ground construction, Bryan has a vast knowledge of all aspects of the construction industry. Bryan excels in communication and is our point of contact working with client management validating all customer needs and requirements are satisfied. Bryan’s field presence on all projects keeps ASI in tune with the work we execute insuring superior quality. This also provides opportunities to refine our processes in our effort to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
